About
Hi! My name's Heather, I'm a mom of a 4 1/2 year old girl. I'm divorced from her dad, and now remarried to my childhood sweetheart. Also, I'm pregnant with baby number 2

I'm a geek, artist, movie junkie, bookworm, Christian, photographer, animal lover, fanfiction writer, zombie fan, werewolf fan, knitter, trashion fan, thrift store shopper, Chucks wearer, and obsessed with all things Irish, Scottish, Welsh, etc.

I make it my policy to love everyone, and keep my arms open. Which is why I haven't deleted my profile here. I appreciate those of you who have found me and added me as friends, but I'll warn you, I don't get on Cut Out + Keep much anymore. The friends I've made here and I have found a less hostile environment to talk and share projects, away from trolls.

You are so awesomely sweet. I wish you could attend Dragon con because it would be amazing to meet you. perhaps next year. ^_^
And, yes..I believe he is going to be there. The first year I went to Dragon Con (2007)I was so hoping to see Robert Jordan but, unfortunately, he was too sick to attend and died soon after Dragon Con. It broke my heart. My dad is a major fan of the series and I am as well. I had quit reading them because I was afraid it would never be finished. But, thankfully, they have appointed someone who knows the series well enough(and with the help of Jordan's notes of course) to bring it to an end.
I have to run. I still have so much to finish before we head to Atlanta. I hope you have an amazing day and a wonderful week!
i also have a Polyvore account, im in a Supernatural group (also obsessed). you should add me as a contact, "EmiDoll. lurvs you."
Are you going to Dragon Con?! I am soooo excited about it. It's going to be a long drive but, it will be worth it. ^_^

When I read the first two things you are into I flipped lol. I LOVE Supernatural!!! My fav. tv show. I am a Sam lover but I love the whole 80's style with Dean.
Annnddd...Harry Potter - Awesome! Ravenclaw - Even more awesome! I recently bought a Ravenclaw Pen...it's too sweet. It's blue with a Raven on top.
Okay I'm done with my nerd rant...I can go on forever lol.
Yes, my doll have the "look" of waldorf doll but she isn't a waldorf doll!
n fact I use different materials than those provided by the philosophy Steiner, who wants only natural materials.
I use a simple cotton jersey that I find in haberdashery and synthetic stuffing, and then paint the face with a very precise expression, while the dolls waldorf must have only just outlined eyes and mouth so that children "see" in the doll expression they feel.
Where I live is almost impossible to get the jersey suits waldorf dolls, not to mention the carded wool for stuffing! So even if i want to spend so much money for these valuable materials it is not easy! Should I order them on the internet, but I still do not feel so good at sewing to make this financial investment.
But one day I would do, to see the difference in results as well.
On the Internet there are many tutorials to achieve them, I especially love the shape of the head, so round and soft! I am also convinced that about creative things like this everyone should be free to "mix" various techniques to achieve the result closest to their own taste.
For example, I make the trunk shorter than necessary and very long legs and I almost went crazy to design a model foot itself (not an outline folding the end of the leg), which could wear some nice shoes. Doll waldorf haven't feet like this!! But I like it a lot!
Great Job!

I'll just say something about your daughter's "boyfriend" here: Make him draw! Make him draw non-stop, admire his drawings to make him want to draw more. There's a direct connection between our hand and part of the brain that is responsible for speech, the more he'd use his hand for drawing the more stimuli that particular part gets the sooner it will become more developed. And in the bathroom he can just paint on tiles and wash it off while having a shower, it's fun too!
Love to you and your gorgeous Li'l S.
Negin xxxxx
anyways. i'll try again tomorrow.
your daughter is supercute!!!!
kisses and sweaty hugs!
