My favorite state is Washington. I visit there often since my best friend lives there and not matter how many times I go I am captured by its beauty. I have done so many amazing things there. Like take a hike into the woods behind her house with just back that turns into a chair and my art supplies. After I finish drawing I would fall asleep in total comfort. I have walked cliffs that hang over rocky waters. Seen Bald Eagles almost close enough to touch, had a snow fight in the mountain when it was mid summer and almost lost my phone on a bridge that hung over swirling water. Did I mention they have actual photo booths there I love to commemorate my trips with a quick session with a friend. There are so many amazing things I could say but the most beautiful thing is how it awakens the art and creativity in side me. I love WASHINGTON!!!!!!!
louisiana! hands down, royal flush, no competition, it's an "outta the park home run," all 10's, all strikes, "stop the press" and any and every winning praise you can think of. Our state has tourism sites practically everywhere. Besides the beautiful and diverse landscape, louisiana has gorgeous antebellum homes, world famous festivals, carnivals, and tourist sites. People all over the globe love our food, the diverse culture, our sports teams, fishing and hunting, and our beloved New Orleans. Anywhere you go, there's something for everybody! "Laissez les bons temps rouler" May you have "joie de vivre."
Hawai'i! My home! Although isolated from the rest of the U.S., I feel connected to the rest of the country through "Cut Out and Keep" as if everyone sharing their ideas are just next door!
Mahalo!
WASHINGTON!!!! It's green and gorgeous and the people are (generally) super awesome!!!!!
My favourite is Missouri. i like it the best because this is where Pokey Lafarge is from and his music makes my life infinitely better.
Id love to say New York, or other places ive visited ...but id have to stick to Kentucky. Where ive always lived. Happy
The scenery & wildlife everywhere is always amazing & refreshing (its my fav part! I saw my first fox this week actually, in my backyard!) And U wouldnt think so, but the culture/people/areas are EXTREMELY diverse here. U never know who or what ur gonna run into. lol This place never seizes to surprise me. ITs home.
Nebraska, because traveling from one end to the other will make you feel like you just leaped from one world to another.

My favorite state is Arizona because of all of it's old ghost towns and old Western themed places. I wasn't born there but I feel like I should have been.
My favorite state is Oregon because the weather is perfect and the scenery is beautiful.
My favorite state is one's state of mind. Anyone can travel there because you don't need a passport, or a plane ticket, or a car rental. You can change it at anytime of the day and suddenly the very place you are in transforms entirely. A single attitude adjustment shifts perspective and purpose. You can live in depression and suddenly decide to vacation in happiness. Simply traveling to a new state of mind can change your entire take on life!
My favorite state is Texas. Everyone is friendly and polite. It was were I was born and am now being raised. There are many beautiul natural things, from the Gulf of Mexico to the bluebonnets. Texans also remember what's important in life, family, friends, and actually living.
My favorite state is the one I live in-California! You can go to the ocean, desert, mountains, valleys, foothills etc. all in a day. There is so much to see and do-fishing, boating, hiking, surfing, swimming, sight seeing, wine tasting and more. The people are super friendly and helpful also.
My favorite state is Maryland! You have all 4 seasons, mountains and coast line, great historical sights and beautiful getaways. You can find anything in MD and it is just moments from our nation's capital. I love Maryland!
My favorite state is California. Why? California may be perhaps the only state in the US that i know of where there are different climates year round. You wana go to the beach? Drive south. Wana go to the snow? Drive north. The climate is amazing year round. Plus LA is just south. San fransisco is in the middle and Cali has so much to offer in just one state!
My favorite state is Oregon. I love it, not only because I live here, but because we have a little bit of everything here. Verdant valleys and dry deserts. Mountains for skiing, and beaches for combing. Big cities with couture and entertainment, and little towns with history and charm.
My favorite state is California- I love the diversity! The thought of San Francisco always makes me smile.

I was born and raised in Oregon, but lived most of my adult life in New York. Both states have my heart, but hands down, Vermont is my favorite state! The people are kind, the landscape is stunning, and the winters are cold!
My favorite state is Michigan. It has so many great places to visit! From Holland to Frankenmuth to Mackinaw Island. It has great museums and some pretty amazing food. It is honestly one of my favorite places to go.
I'm loving on Tennesse right now, with my favorite road trip through Memphis - I enjoyed the great music, incredible barbeque and got to see Elvis' house and personal airplanes parked right off the street. And the people were so friendly!
My favorite state is California--because I live there.
Im British but if anyone asks me my dream future it is to live in Texas and own a ranch with horses and a barn with lots of fields to ride in. It's such a lovely place, always sunny and warm and a Texan accent is enough to make me dosey do! Happy
My favorite stae is Georgia. My love for Georgia is more than the fact I was born there. Georgia has gorgous scenery and a spectaculair state flower. The cherokee rose is a white flower that is just so pretty... I want to win so I can learn more about my wonderful home state.

California is my strange and beautiful home. The northern and southern parts of the state are so different and interesting. I live beneath behemoth redwood trees and by the ocean. I spent summers on the beach into the wee hours of the morning and spent my childhood frolicking through forests ( sugar coating slightly). No matter where I end up life, Cali will always be home and I will always return.
I've only been to the USA once, when I was too tiny to remember more than the odd snapshot... but I really really want to go back! My favourite dream-of-visiting state is probably Arizona, because the Grand Canyon looks so amazing! And then probably somewhere slightly obscure like Virginia, because I want to learn more about the first Europeans... in America Happy
Oops. That was supposed to be HI for Hawaii, not HA. Dunno why I typed "a" intead of "i".
I’ve been to a lot of states for my age, (Washington, Hawaii, California, to name a few) but my favorite is definately Alaska.
It is amazingly beautiful there and it has always felt like home because I was born there. The summers are gorgeous and there is never a lack of sunlight during those months (perfect lighting for reading or crafting for an hour or so. ;3) Around eleven at night during the summer the sunlight turns into a golden color that I never thought was possible.
The winters are prettier than the summers in my opinion because everything, even the thinnest of tree branches, gets dusted with fine powdery snow that crunches under your feet after it freezes. Not to mention everything looks clean and white after a snow fall.
But the best thing about it, there are absolutely no snakes (like in WA) or cockroaches (like in HA). ^-^
Do I have to have just one favorite? I was born in Ohio, went to college there and met my husband there, so I love Ohio. I've lived in Colorado and it's beautiful; in New York where my first child was born and it has so much history; in California where two more children were born and we had such wonderful neighbors; in Illinois where the flatness was absolutely awe inspiring; in Alabama where I learned to drink sweet tea; in Louisiana where I made so many wonderful friends; in Maine where everyone you met was so friendly and interested in where you'd been; in Virginia where our children finally had a chance to finish growing; and now in Washington where it's so beautiful and our area is so peaceful. Can I favorite them all??
My favorite state is Michigan. I've been around the country, and there is no more beautiful place with more variety of things to do than Michigan. Summer is perfect, the lakes and trails and campgrounds are all gorgeous. Plus, we are home to the most beautiful place in the world, Sleeping Bear Dunes, which comes with its own awesome legend.
I know I sound like a Pure Michigan ad, but its all that and a bag of chips!
My favorite state is Missouri. I've lived in Missouri my entire life and have visited several other states. Missouri is still my favorite. We have four very distinct seasons, making outdoor living fun; swim in Summer, run through the beautiful leaves in Autumn, build a snowman in Winter and enjoy the blooming flowers in Spring. Missouri also has part of the Ozarks, just absolutely beautiful to look at and fun to explore!
my favorite state is michigan!! it has all the 4 seasons so there is always something to do,you can enjoy every sport,craft,season...everything. i enjoy geocacheing, reading, genealogy, crafts, tourist stuff and most of all enjoying my family. it dont get any better than that!!

COLORADO!!! I took a road trip when I was 19 from Oregon to Colorado by myself because I had always wanted to see it. To this day it's one of the best trips I've ever taken.
my favorite state is west virginia. the people are wonderful and local foods are delicious!!
Florida every time!
Being from England, I love the sun and the fact that you never run out of things to do there.I wish I could go on holiday to Florida more often, but it means it's very special when I do go.

My favorite state would have to be Ohio. I wasn't born there, but I moved there pretty young, and got to experience most of my growing up there. It's city enough to be exciting, but small enough to not be so overbearing. There's TONS of history there, local lore, and the best ghost stories! There's something for everyone in Ohio, from quirky city living to beautiful country views, and I love that every time I visit, I can do so many different things.
TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!! Were such a big state and theres so much to do and explore here!
My favorite state is Montana! Its incredibly beautiful and so peaceful.
New Jersey hands down!! I've lived here my whole life but you can always find something new. We have the shore, farmlands, pine barrens, mountains, and fields. So much stuff in such a little space!!
My favorite state is New York, because in its largest city, New York City, anonymity is instantaneous. You walk out of your door and you can do anything you want, meet absolutely anyone for the first time. You could live a block away from someone and never ever meet them. That is so amazing. Every time I find out I'm going back, I feel my heart flutter at the thought of home. Even though I was born in Michigan.
Florida. It's the sunshine state, which is like paradise for people that walk around with gray skin like me. And also, orange juice. Yum!
My favorite state is Montana, because I just love nature, and the big blue sky. I've never been there, but it is definietly somewhere I would like to live when I get older or visit soon. My home state of New Jersey is a close second and equally as beautiful as Montana.
Florida.
It's civilized and wild
Has the old and the new
Even though the weather's pretty mild
And the air always smells of dew,
We always have to say that
you should never forget your straw hat!
My favorite is Delaware. This is where I was born and we are the first state!
My favorite state is Pennsylvania. Although I was born in Florida, I live in PA.In Florida, it's always warm. I prefer warm weather, but without the cold, I wouldn't appreciate the warm weather as much. PA has warm and cold weather.

Idaho- It has beautiful prairies, crystal clear rivers and lakes, and some of the most stunning mountains in the Rockies. No matter where you live you're only a few hours away from a large city like Boise, Coeur d'Alene, or even Salt Lake City in Utah. The seasons have a great balance, by the time you start to get cabin fever from the snow, spring shows up and when you think you've just about had enough of the dry, hot summers, fall winds start blowing in from the west. If your and outdoor adventure you can't possibly get bored with skiing, fishing, camping, hiking, ATVs, white water rafting, rock climbing and so much more. All of which are only minutes away. Most of all I love the simpler, slow paced way of life everyone seems to enjoy in my home state, Idaho <3
My favorite state is New Jersey! I was born there. If you ask the people who created the Weird New Jersey Mag...it is pretty freaky! I have had my share of weird experiences in NJ and miss it terribly. Canada isn't nearly as fun.
