How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
What projects are you currently working on?
I'm currently creating a Marie Antionette-inspired collection of statement necklaces, headpieces, bracelets, earrings and beaded dresses! I got super-inspired after watching Sophia Coppola's Marie Antionette recently, and loved the over-the-top luxury of the aesthetic. I wanted to re-create a collection inspired by the colors, textures and materials in the costuming. Stay tuned!Read the rest of the interview »
I am a visual artist from Chile, now based in Denver, CO. For years I worked as an illustrator, but by now I am mainly focused in my painting.
I love plants, light and colors, and I am also a Tarot enthusiast! All these influences mingle in my work taking me though unexpected paths.

My space is in a historic building and it is all old growth wood. Floors, ceiling and walls. Large windows with wonderful light.

Even though I live in a small apartment it is possible to modify the space according to current projects. When I am quilting it occupies the whole apartment. This summer every surface plus floor was covered in fabrics.
Then about a month ago I decided to make an advent calendar to my blog and social media and this small apartment became a studio for the project.
Recreate the look of Frida Kahlo in #DIYTheLook with Mary.
I chose to recreate the look of the fierce and forever stylish Frida Khalo. My main interest is jewellery, and my current favourite designers are Arpana Rayamajhi and Susan Alexandra – both of whom I think could have made jewellery for Frida! It was the ‘Fiesta Earrings’ which inspired me to put together this look. Also, I am currently experiencing a winter in Sweden, so wanted to choose something summery, colourful and fresh to look forward to warmer weather.
