Cook an Italian chocolate cake, Goan style mussels & blood orange jelly with Isaacs Restaurant in Cork, Ireland.

How did you get started?

Started 22 years ago by myself Canice Sharkey and Michael & Catherine Ryan, we had all worked in Michelin starred restaurants and realised there was a large gap in market for a restaurant serving affordable good seasonal food.

Where are you located?

On bust street in Cork City, in a Victorian ware house

What are your specialities?

Seasonal food sourced from local suppliers. we also grow a lot of our own salads etc, and have access to the best fish in the country.

What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?

lots of the fish we get delivered daily, also we do some great Eastern food, that always a nice option for lunch. Our specials change twice daily

What's on the stereo?

classic cool Jazz

Where else should we visit in your area?

East Cork, lots of farmers markets and cliff walks, and quite beaches

Do you host any special events?

We run a busy restaurant that is at capacity, so thankfully keeps us busy. we do host lots of Tourists etc, so that great

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?
