I went to th Renaissance Faire a month or so ago... Jessica Galbreth (fantasy artist) had her own shoppe there. Everything was too pricey (or pricey enough for a person who haven't even twenty-five bucks on her), including some really pretty pendant chokers featuring her art. DX

So I collected my resources...
And made this.

The original design had the art cast in porcelin, but since I had no idea how to do that, I just used the next best technique: resin.

Jessica Galbreth shoppes as Fire Mountain Gems and Beads too... and I was able to find the exact same cabochon setting that she used. Even luckier, the resin molds that I used fit perfectly. :)

This was actually a trial-and-error project, but I ended up adapting Nora. C's cameo project to fit my needs: using polymer clay to fill in the setting, gluing my picture to it, and then setting the resin cast over it.

Except for some tiny, tiny bubbles that I missed in the curing process, it's perfect. <3
