Peel and chop the onion. Peel the apple, (remove the core) and cut it into small dice.
Sweat the onion in a pan with olive oil. Add the peeled tomatoes and the apple.
Then add the cider vinegar, mustard, sugar, curry and basil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat.
- Meanwhile, cook the sausages for 15 minutes in boiling water, after poking them with a fork.
- Mix the sauce
- Eat the "curry wust" the German way in a sandwich or
cut the sausages into slices, and baste them generously. Sprinkle with curry and serve with steamed potatoes.
