He might be grey, but he's a darn snappy dresser.
I found an old sketch of this little guy today and had an irresistible urge to do some non-Christmas crafting. He's made of cotton broadcloth that I painted with acrylics. I wanted him to be kind of lumpy and rough-looking, so I didn't clip the fabric around the curves, didn't fix any paint smudges, added some pencil lines. You can really only see the ones around his eyes in the pictures.

I just had to give him spats.

Edited to add: He was later named Mr. Brumbletrout. Not sure where that came from, but it seems to fit. :)
