Mix a Blissful Belly Smoothie & Fall Detox Juice with Ezra's Enlightened Cafe, Indianapolis

How did you get started?

Chef Audrey's journey began in her early 20's as she searched for answers to her chronic fatigue and digestive challenges. As she learned about and experimented with the vegan/raw diet she experienced amazing results. She wanted to share what she had learned with others so she left her corporate job to become a Certified Raw Food Chef at the world renowned Living Light Culinary Institute in 2009. Since then Audrey has been chefing, teaching classes and working one-on-one with people who are searching for better health and quality of living. In 2013 soon after Audrey gave birth to Ezra, she began planning to open her first cafe in Broad Ripple. She wanted her community to have a place that parents and everyone could order anything from the menu and no matter what it was, they would feel BETTER than when they came in. We've been open for close to a year now and we are loving the feedback from customers.

Where are you located?

Awe are located in the heart of Broad Ripple, adjacent to The Playful Soul and we share a parking lot with Cake Bake. We are tucked away in what we call our little "Vibrant Village"

What are your specialities?

We specialize in dairy-free, gluten-free or organic dishes, desserts, smoothies, juices and herbal tonics. 99.9% of our food is organic and we focus on being NON-GMO as well.

What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?

I really love the Buddha Bowl. I have it almost daily. I also love our Superfood Reishi Fudge and our Vanilla Sweet Dream Hot Tonic Latte.

What's on the stereo?

We listen to a wide variety of music - it depends on how we are feeling that day but we are really loving the Bob Marley and mo town station on Pandora lately.

Where else should we visit in your area?

The Playful Soul - our lovely neighbors, Shop Tibet for authentic Tibetan jewelry, clothing, music and more.... and of course we love The Good Earth :)

Do you host any special events?

Yes, we teach classes monthly and are gearing up for monthly RSVP dinners as well so stay tuned and make sure to sign up for our email list on the website and follow us on Facebook and IG to stay in the know.

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?

We absolutely LOVE being part of the Indy community and watching our city grow and flourish. And we love our customers and welcome ALL.

Do you have a favorite cafe, restaurant or bar in your town that we should feature? Send us a message!
