When it comes to Halloween decorations, you could spend a lot of money buying them readymade or you could make your own in the time it takes to walk to the shops! Here are four simple projects to make Halloween party decorations, mostly using cheap household items.


Jack O Lantern Tealight Holder

A pumpkin jack o lantern you can re-use year after year!

You will need:

  • Orange polymer clay.
  • Glossy varnish for the clay.
  • Selection of sculpting tools to use with the clay.
  • A rounded shaped glass tealight holder.
  • Brown or dark orange acrylic paint.
  • Paint brush.
  • Tealight candle.



Halloween Garlands

You will need:

  • Large sheets of coloured paper.
  • Scissors.
  • Masking tape.
  • Scoth tape.
