i got the idea from a hood i saw in a store window downtown. instead of paying $200 for it i bought some cheap fun fur and made it myself...i think it ended up costing me about 4 bux!!! enjoy!!

You Will Need

Step 1first step is to cut out your pattern. all i did was figure out how big i wanted my hood chalked it out on the wrong side of the fabric (don't forget to include the scarf part) then cut it out
cut 4 if you want a lining and 2 if you don't -
Step 2pin the back and top of both hoods together and sew

Step 3cut out 2 rectangles big enough for your hands

Step 4fold over the top of the rectangles and sew

Step 5now sew them onto the bottom outside of the scarf part of your hood

Step 6here's the tricky part
with right sides together put the lining hood inside the other hood and sew all around leaving a small opening at the back where it would sit on your neck
pin and sew -
Step 7now pull right side out through the opening and stitch the opening up
try to hide the seamalmost done!

Step 8
cut out 4 triangles slightly larger than you want the ears to be
right sides together sew the top sides of the triangles then pull the right sides out and hand stitch onto your hood where you want them to be -
Step 9now you have a fun warm hood just in time for the snow!!
I bought a huge leopard faux fur coat at the thrift and I'm gonna recycle it and turn it into 2 of these!
