hood, animal, furry, hat, warm
i got the idea from a hood i saw in a store window downtown. instead of paying $200 for it i bought some cheap fun fur and made it myself...i think it ended up costing me about 4 bux!!! enjoy!!
i apolagise i suck at explaining things hopefully the pictures are thorough

  • How to make a hooded scarf. Woolfy Hood - Step 1
    Step 1

    first step is to cut out your pattern. all i did was figure out how big i wanted my hood chalked it out on the wrong side of the fabric (don't forget to include the scarf part) then cut it out
    cut 4 if you want a lining and 2 if you don't

    pin the back and top of both hoods together and sew

    cut out 2 rectangles big enough for your hands

    fold over the top of the rectangles and sew

    now sew them onto the bottom outside of the scarf part of your hood

    here's the tricky part
    with right sides together put the lining hood inside the other hood and sew all around leaving a small opening at the back where it would sit on your neck
    pin and sew

    now pull right side out through the opening and stitch the opening up
    try to hide the seam

    almost done!

  • Step 8

    cut out 4 triangles slightly larger than you want the ears to be
    right sides together sew the top sides of the triangles then pull the right sides out and hand stitch onto your hood where you want them to be

    now you have a fun warm hood just in time for the snow!!
