natasha- nothing to make them stay up just double up on the fabric and it should stay
if the fabric's really thin you could use some fusable interfacing on the inside

This is awesome! I made one with some faux fur fabric I had lying around, and the lining is an old black T-Shirt. Thanks for being a genius with craftiness!

LOVE IT! I saw a picture of Khloe Kardashian wearing a fox version of this and thought, "Good Lord that's cute! But way too expensive!" Not to mention I wasn't keen on the fox one... But this... This I'm definitely going to be making.

Thanks so much!

i didn't really use any measurements i just kinda eyeballed it hehe your best bet would be to use the hood of a sweat shirt as a guide for the hood just add about half an inch for seam allowances and the front part of the hood just tace all the way down the fabric for a long scarf. i made mine go down to about my hips it seems to be the perfect length. as for the width of the scarf make it any width you want. i made mine about an inche on both sides larger than the pockets i put onto it

hope that helps if you need specific measurements or have any other questions just ask and i can post them when i get home
