I really wanted to try another pattern. Found this, never cabled before and ended up really liking the way it worked out, and as a bonus for joining the ends together even got to learn how to do the 3 needle bind off. That was a plus. She had a tutorial on that as well but from my Stitch and Bitch book, they explained it quite well.
Now I want to cable knit more!
