Striped "Sleeping Cap" Winter Hat

A cool hat I knitted for my hubby!
Initially this was going to be a hat for my son, but I accidentally made it too big, so now my husband has a really cool winter hat. Lesson learned: ALWAYS knit a sample swatch before embarking on a project where size matters! ;-)

I'm working on figuring/writing out the pattern so I can make this a how-to. Probably won't be able to make this a how-to until after the busy holidays, tho.
