Mail inspired art.
This was a piece I made for an exhibition I had earlier this year at a museum which was all about post/mail. I collected a lot of different stamps, stuck them down in a design I found pleasing, and then added some drawn details which were inspired by the shapes and textures of the stamps and the post marks on them.
