little mermaid
I used a pattern for a sundress I`ve had for ever and drew a fish tale from there. I made the scales for metallic fabric backed with leftover fabric (they are pretty much all different). I used a metallic lycra for the body and lined the front part (with the tale) with polar fleece so I could quilt the tale. I love how it came out :-)

Lilim: Lucky! When I was her age I was Dopey from Snow White! And my older sister was Snow White! I had to be a boy!
(He is the one with huge ears and dosn't talk. Did I spell his name right?)

What a cute little doll you have and she looks great in the costume. I like the scales design and how it flows down her back but short in the front so she doesn't trip over it. I tis not only cute and creative but very toddler friendly.
