The less efficient way of storing your memos
If you are the flirty type, you could keep your phone number on a memory charm and then give it away when you want someone to call you.

    Write your note down on to shrink plastic using a permanent marker.

    Cut the note out in to an interesting shape.

    Punch a hole through the top.

    You can write a little note on the back too, if you like.

    Cook in the oven until shrunk. Usually at 175° for 2 minutes or so.

    Take a jewellery clasp and a jump ring.

    Slip the jump ring through the hole on your charm and then through the clasp. You can now clip your charm on to a bracelet.

    Use the <a href="/projects/folded_notebook/">folded notebook</a> instructions to make yourself a notebook out of shrink plastic. Keep this in your pocket and then when you have something to remember, scribble it down and then make a memory charm.

You can usually find shrink paper at most craft supply stores. They might know it by the brand name Shrinky Dinks. You can also order online at these websites:

Note that shrink paper isn't actually paper at all, but a type of plastic. It can be used to make all kinds of neato things!
