Also called a Dutch Braid, the Inside-Out Braid is the underside of your French braids.

You Will Need

Step 1Brush out your hair.

Step 2Separate any part of the hair that you do not want to be added to your braid.

Step 3Pick up a small chunk of hair at the crown and separate in to three pieces.

Step 4When braiding this, make sure that you always braid from the UNDERSIDE.

Step 5Braid down your head, adding more and more hair from the sides as you go along. You will notice that the braid will stick out from the rest of the hair. That is what you want.

Step 6Finish braiding until you reach the nape of the neck. You then have options. You can put your remaining hair in a ponytail, just continue braiding to the bottom of your hair, or fishtail braid it.

Step 7Add in a headband or some hairclips and just have fun with it!!
