Graduation Cake

Vintage Books Cake
My big sister recently graduated and I couldn't resist making her a cake. I looked online for inspiration and decided I wanted to make a cake that would look like two books - to reflect her two subjects.

I used three different kinds of chocolate icing to make the book effect, and piped the title on the top with yummy white icing. It was pretty easy to make and I love the way the chocolate dries and makes the books look old - exactly what I wanted!

We did have a little accident during transportation and that's why the board says "Congra Sam" and not "Congrats Sam". And unfortunately the top writing got squashed too. But considering the journey it had,it survived really well hehe.
