You can use any flaked cereal you have.

You Will Need

Step 1Base...
Rub the butter & flour together until fine breadcrumbs.

Step 2Add enough water to form a dough.
Wrap in cling film & refrigerate for 30 mins.

Step 3Heat oven 170/340 degrees.
Press dough into a tin.
Bake blind for 20 mins.

Step 4Filling...
In a pan heat butter, sugar & syrup until sugar has melted.

Step 5Add cornflakes & coat.

Step 6Spread jam in base.

Step 7Pour cornflake mixture over jam.
Bake for 15 mins.

Step 8Allow to set before cutting.

Step 9Serve.
