Rich chocolate-y goodness without all the sugar
I got a new mini blender and I have been loving it. Here is a recipe I created with no sugar and no artificial sweeteners. It is hydrating and full of vitamins. It's also rich and velvety and chocolate-y. You won't miss the sugar!

  • Step 1

Time does not include this part. Let some bananas get really ripe. This is important because it is where the sweetness comes from. Once they are ripe, cut them into slices and put in a baggie and freeze overnight.

  • Step 2

Once the bananas are frozen, get out your blender. Put about 1 cup coconut water, 1 1/2 bananas, 1 Tbsp cocoa, 2 tsp vanilla, butter & nut flavoring. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!

  • Step 3

You may want to play around with the coconut water to banana ratio to achieve desired thickness.
