Step 1Pre heat oven Gas mark 4.
Cream butter & sugar together.
Add egg & vanilla.

Step 2Add flour, cornflour, baking soda, salt in 3 additions.

Step 3Mix in chocolate chips.

Step 4Drop tablespoon sized balls onto sheet pan approx 2 inch apart.

Step 5Bake for 10 mins.
let cool on tray for 5 mins then tranfer to wire rack.
Cookies are at there best eaten straight away.
