A dramatic mask for a masqurade ball
I made this for a friends masqurade ball. Its basically a cardboard butterfly shape, that I covered with black satin. I designed and cut-out the felt shape and glued it onto the cardboard base. I added the glass beads to pick out the eyes. I borrowed Kaeleira's idea of mounting it on a pair of glasses. I used those free 3D ones you get at the cinema and just poked the lenses out. I used layers of cardboard on the bridge of the nose to curve the mask around my face and make it fit better. I'm really pleased with it and I won the mask competition!
