  • How to make a lace headband. Always A Bridesmaid Shiroi Loli Headband - Step 1
    Step 1

Make your bows. I've cut 3 ribbons - one with 4 1/2" length, another with 5 1/2" length and the third one with 6 1/2" length. I added tails for the biggest one, but that's just my preference. :3 Set them aside.

    Step 2

Take your used headband, and wrap the satin ribbon around it. Secure the edges with hot glue and a 2" strip of ribbon.

    Step 3

Layout your lace. I've chosen netting as my base, since my lace trim is really thin and flimsy. Sew your lace directly on the base, keeping close to the center. Don't forget to add pleats.

This is how it should look like. Don't worry if it doesn't look uniform or neat.

Now get your bows and sew them on a strip of satin ribbon. I chose the ribbon with the same color since I wanted a light colored headpiece. Make sure to space them evenly. Round the corner of the other end of the ribbon (the end without the embellishment).

Now sew the ribbon on the lace trim. Make a running stitch on the edges of the ribbon so that it would look neat.

Attach the whole thing on your headband. Trim the netting if you want a fluffier or flimsier looking lace trim.

    And then you're done! Yay~ :3
