How-To Make An Essential Oil Necklace

• 

  Step 1

  Gather materials. Needed are pliers (roundnose, flatnose and cutters), scissors, eye pins, gemstone round beads, copper chain, a copper filigree locket, a toggle clasp and jump rings.

• 

  Step 2

  Create three bead links from two gemstone rounds and a crystal. I used 8mm and 6mm beads. Feel free to use whichever style beads you like!

• Step 3

  Cut an 18" piece of chain, and two 2" pieces.

• 

  Step 4

  Connect the 6mm links to the 18" chain and 2" chains.

• 

  Step 5

  Connect the 8mm link to the bottom of the chain, and then connect the locket to the bottom of the link.

• 

  Step 6

  Add your toggle at back with jump rings (you will have to cut the back of the chain in half and add).

• 

  Step 7

  Cut a small oval of felt to fit inside the locket.

• 

  Step 8

  Add 2-3 drops of oil to the locket and let it absorb. Add more oil throughout the day if needed!
