Har gow, and pretty much any dim sum: shui mai, wontons any way at all, potstickers, just about anything bundled up in dough and steamed or fried! This sounds like a great book, thanks for the opportunity to win it.

Crispy duck with pancakes. I only encountered it recently, but the mixture of flavours and textures is incredible. I'd love to be able to cook more authentic Chinese food than what you end up getting from the takeaway.

My guilty pleasure is shredded crispy duck, hoi sin sauce, spring onions and cucumber in Chinese pancakes. Would love to know how to make them from scratch myself, oh and Kung Po beef is another fave, and prawn toast, and chicken chow mein and szechuan beef. I adore black bean sauce too, and spring rolls...... My boyfriend is half-Chinese and makes a mean egg fried rice, but between us tht's all the Chinese food we can cook (not from a jar!!). Would love to learn how to make some of these dishes myself, would save a fortune from all the take-out he eats!!!!!
