A velvety dress for a sour girl
Here we have a dress made for a doll that will be added later to our personal website. I used some scraps of velvet and formed it to the doll, pinned it in place and sewed it to fit. I started with the skirt gathering it around the midsection of the doll. Once the skirt was done I moved on to the top which was basically a tube, like a sock and joined it to the skirt. Next I sewed two little tubes for the sleeve, cut two small holes in her shoulders and attached the sleeves. The dress is shown here next to a tube of acrylic paint to show scale.
