• 

  Step 1

  So let's start.
  first take a piece of square paper ( mine is folded diagonally but yours should be perfectly flat )

• 

  Step 2

  Next fold the paper in half like shown

• 

  Step 3

  then you unfold it and fold it again in the other direction

• 

  Step 4

  next turn the paper around and flip it diagonally by both sides. then you should have something looking like this

• 

  Step 5

  Next you take the paper and fold it like this <= sorry i can't really explain it

• 

  Step 6

  after doing that you should have a triangle

• 

  Step 7

  next you take the side corner and flip it up like shown

• 

  Step 8

  so fold it and flatten nicely

• 

  Step 9

  repeat on the other side. then the paper should look like this <=

• 

  Step 10

  next turn the triangle on the other direction. take the top and fold it till there is a little corner showing on top of the ... oww you'll see in the nest step lol

• 

  Step 11

  it should look like this <= flatten nicely

• 

  Step 12

  now you'll notice that your wings-to-be are not looking ... well lol don't worry about that. just flatten them a little ( it looks better that way anyway =] ) repeat with the other wing

• 

  Step 13

  'kay now your butterfly must be looking like that <=

• 

  Step 14

  now fold the butterfly in half

• 

  Step 15

  flatten it nicely

• 

  Step 16

  next unfold the butterfly and fold it again along that line <= repeat on the other side

• 

  Step 17

  and now you're actually done ^.^ enjoy your new butterfly and have fun with it =]
