  • Step 1

Carefully press the plants individually between layers of newspaper and cardboard, weighted down evenly with books, bricks or the like. Leave to dry for at least one week.

  • Step 2

Arrange the dried plants on a sheet of glass. Secure with a few drops of glue at the back if necessary. Cover with another sheet of glass.

  • Step 3

With the help of long-nose pliers, make u-shaped wire hooks, leaving 3 cm ends sticking out at right angles. These will anchor the hooks to the fabric-tape frame.

  • Step 4

Cut the fabric tape to the measurements of the frame sides. Mitre-cut the corners. About 4 cm in from the top edges of the frame, cut two small slits into the corrensponding tape to accommodate the hooks. Slide the hooks into the slits and tape the two glass panes together all the way round.

Use delicate plants, which can be pressed very flat.
