A big thank you to MischievousMelanie for the inspiration! I had this older-than-me polka dots t-shirt lying around waiting for a good project, and so I made this cute top. I'm not much of a strapless tops fan, so I added straps to mine. I also reduced a bit the size of the ruffles and added some blue buttons to match the blue of the upper part.
It took me quite some time to do it because it was all hand-sewn (I'm a disaster with the machine, go figure), but I imagine it must be pretty quick using a machine.

I didn't have blue buttons at home and couldn't bother to go out to buy them so I raided my brother's stuff and found some spray paint in the exact same blue as the top... Lucky me!
