When your mother in law hands you something 'meh'
My 'mother in law' gave me a white chandelier for which we had no place in our home. My boyfriend didn't even like the thing. But as always 'mom' tried to 'sell' it anyway. So I took it, thinking that I could put it in the garden somewhere to get a bit rusty.

This is what it turned into.
I had my boyfriend saw the thing in half. This half still has the top ring on which to hang it. The other half is hiding in the shed somewhere, waiting for my inspiration to strike again.

I have a rather large collection of beads and discarded jewelry and with a bit of strong (hopefully non bio-degradable) wire I decorated the chandelier with beads. I also added some painted shards of glass.

Unfortunately I just finished this project when the sunny days were over. I have not yet seen what it looks like with full sunshine on it.

The butterfly hook was a Valentine gift from my boyfriend.
