A birthday present for a little girl. Can be George or Peppa.
Made for a two year old girl on her second birthday. I hope she likes it, I'm told she really likes Peppa Pig and Go, Diego, Go!

George and Peppa look the same to me, I'm sure to an avid fan there are lots of differences.

I couldn't get a light shade of pink for the face, so I used a darker shade and highlighted with light pink (I had a smaller piece).

If she likes it I'm going to make more for my Etsy and Folksy shops.

  • Step 1

Print off a template for the face and cut it out. The template I used was originally for a mask.

    Step 2

Trace the template onto your material (don't forget to reverse the template for the other side).
    Cut out both heads.
I would recommend next cutting out the facial features and sewing them on because I didn't and it was tricky.
I used a picture online for reference.
You can put the eyes, nose and mouth on either side. I was tempted to do both, but it is for a child and I didn't want this to be scary.

  • Step 3

Once the facial features have been sew on, pin the two sides of the head right-sides-together (inside out) and sew, leaving a gap to turn and stuff. I left the ears so that I could get them the right shape.

    Step 4

Turn the right way and stuff. Sew up one ear, add some stuffing into it and sew up the other ear. When it is almost sewn shut stuff the ear and sew the rest shut.

    Step 5

I sewed a heart on the back because Peppa is full of love and needs someone to share it with. ♥
