Quick, thick, awesome & warm. Great gift!
Made this for my mom for Xmas. She picked out the multicoloured yarn... I decided when I found the pattern that it would look awesome with the hot-pink yarn (which I bought for my 5 yearold's legwarmers).

It's super simple, and really fast - it says One Hour in the pattern, though me being an absolute beginner, and having 2 kids... it took me an afternoon. But still fast! And it's done using all 4 strands at once with a big fat crochet hook.

The person who created the pattern below, used "reclaimed yarn"... way cool. :) She has how-to's on her site for that too.
OH - and I believe I did 2 more rows than what she did in her pattern... so mine ended up extra wide (which is awesome cuz it can pull up over your chin like in the pic!)
