A dandy way to hold your spectacles!
This project was from a magazine clipping my grandmother found, which is why I can't credit it.

You Will Need

  • Step 1

    Lay your tie out flat. Measure 17 inches from the pointed tip and mark. Cut at this mark and discard the longer piece.

  • Step 2

    Measure eight inches in from your cut, and mark. Fold the edge up toward this mark and fold over the edge. Pin and sew along this edge.

  • Step 3

    Add velcro to the pointed edge to shut the eyeglass case, and enjoy!

I love this so much. My fiance has a bunch of ties(wears them for work), and several have sort of fallen apart or torn up...perfect to do this project with.
