I'm a total Legend of Zelda junkie, and I'm making props for my Link costume for an Anime convention I'm going to. And it's a nice first project!

Step 1
Gather materials! And have a nice and clean area. The clay picks up the tiniest pieces of dirt.

Step 2
Get a fair amount of clay (roughly the size of a quarter) and roll into a ball.
(Fairies in Legend of Zelda come in Blue, Pink, Purple, Yellow, and Green!)

Step 3
Cut the ball in half with a plastic (or butter) knife, and flatten the balls. Make sure there is some thickness for the studs.

Step 4For the wings you need two balls of white clay, one quarter size, the other dime size. Use Navi's profile (side-view) look, two wings are present, like the picture.

Step 5
Once you make the wings the way you want them to look, flatten them a little, and let the clay dry overnight(or bake in the oven from the box instructions depending on what clay you bought).

Step 6Once everything is dry (or baked, glue the wings and studs together. Let dry. And now you have a Guardian Fairy!
