I love these and wear them all the time, even at night.
I advice you to make the strips last and make them as long/ thick as you think they should be, not worrying to much about the pattern. Unless your using the yarn mentioned in pattern of course. I obviously used different yarn/ hook/ gauge than Twinkie.
