lip gloss
Everything you need you probably have.

The nice thing about this is that you can make as little or as much as you want just by varying how much powder and jelly you use.

Plus: Vaseline keeps lips soft!

    Step 1

Grind up your dry ingredient to a fine consistency (more so than in photo).

Chunky powder = Chunky lip gloss = eww

    Step 2

Start mixing the petroleum jelly and dry ingredient in small proportions, that way you can control what shade they produce. You can always add more.

Fingers work best for mixing. I tried a q-tip but it totally sucked.

Once you're happy with your shade you want to scoop it all into a small container.

Unfortunately my container was a bit too small. Seriously though, who cares? It doesn't leak, so I'm happy.

Plus... it's a cute container (Emily the Strange lip gloss at one time).

When I was a kid I heard you could do this with kool-aid too. Using make up seems more grown up and it recycles too!

Ooh good idea, and I love the emily the strange container! If you have any pigment powders you can use those too, or loose powder (Barry M does like eevery colour for cheap!).
