Use thrifted lace and doilies to make yourself a Skull Tee.
This gurl made herself a lace skull tee, 'cause ya know Halloween is comin' soon, and thought I'd share how I made it.
I was thinkin' I'd croshay a skull applique' but after lookin' at a pile of lace doilies in my sewing room, the lil' lightbulb in my head went poof!

Step 1I found this (http://cn.dk.com/static/cs/cn/11/nf/clipart/projects/projects02_home.html) free printable pattern, it's actually a paper Halloween mask, for cutting out the lace skull.
You can use a thrifted lace curtain or old lace blouse. Whatever. Find a lace panel of some sort. -
Step 2Then, I cut up some thrifted doilies for the eyes, nose and mouth and hand stitched them to the lace skull. I had a floral lace applique which I used as the hair.
I used embroidery floss to blanket stitch the skull to the front of the tee.
