Indoor "self-watering" Herb Rack
I lived in a tiny apartment in Washington DC. I was used to having an herb garden but didnt have the room and I wanted herbs year round.

So I spent weeks designing a plant rack that would meet the requirements for healthy herbs. Light, frequent water, great drainage and easy access.

This is the result. Every pot is connected via plumbing to the rack as a whole. Each pot has cotton cording that runs from the pot to the bottom of one of the tubes.

When the upper pot is watered the vertical poles fill and subsequently the lower pots. the cording allow the plants to draw water as needed from the pipes via capillary action.

NOTE: all of the needs are not listed because I need to add the to Craftopedia - I will get back to this
