hello kitty colorpage and a salad lid to make a stencil
I took the lid off the disposable clear plastic container that the salad came in (can be used to make shrinky dinks too), and cut it into a square big enough to fit over the Hello kitty color page I downloaded for free.
Traced it carefully with my black sharpie, then used my leather whole punching tool to punch evenly space small holes along the traced lines. It's ready to go!
On the apron, I sprayed the spot where I wanted to apply the stencil with a coating of hair spray, and after it was completely dry, I use the sharpies in the colors I needed. *Oooops, you have to iron it to heat set the ink..a dry iron with brown paper in between the iron and the fabric.
For the toaster, I just used the stencil and the sharpies, and sealed it with clear nail polish. Never a problem with it.
