Find a penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck!
My cousin and her husband were going to Africa to run an orphanage so as a good luck charm to keep them safe and wish them a good trip I decided to make them each a penny bracelet. The idea was my own (I'm not saying no one has ever done it before but I didn't see anything like it before). It's based on the belief that if you find a penny face up it's good luck.

I made the bracelet by making two holes in a copper penny (at opposite ends of the penny) I then used some embroidery floss in different colours and braided a simple friendship bracelet pattern from each side.

the bracelet in the picture is worn by my mom and is 1 of 3 that I made. The other two are in Africa somewhere!

That's cool! I forgot to include that I "sealed" the penny because if not your arm will turn green. That's where silver pennies would come in handy.

I drilled it the holes. You can also use a hammer and a nail but its harder and messier.
