Super-soft, warm and cozy personalized baby blanket
I wanted to make a beautiful personalized baby gift for my cousin who's expecting a boy. Since they already decided on the name "Gabriel" I decided to add a big "G" to the bottom corner of the blanket.

I bought a 5 x 5 peice of super-soft fleece that has a Whinnie the Pooh print and another 5 x 5 peice of the same super-soft fleece in solid baby blue. the blanket is double-sided and there is no sewing involved at all!

I'm not quite sure how long it took to make the blanket. I made mine in about 3 hours while taking my time. This project is a quick and easy way to make a beautiful, hand-made, personalized baby gift. The total cost of the project was about 25$ (I got a great deal on the Pooh fleece)

Since the blue fleece had an imperfect edge that would roll up (it was the last of the roll so it was indented) I cut off about an inch of fabric. After I cut it off it rolled into a tube shape so instead of throwing it away I decided to roll up the blanket and tie it off with the scrap peice. So that is what you see in the picture. The "G" on the blanket was also made out of a peice of the blue fleece that we had to cut off. Nothing went to waste on this project! I think it looks ace but that's just me!
