  • How to bake a donut. Donuts - Step 1
    Step 1

    METHOD
Take the butter out of the fridge in time to keep it at room temperature. Put all the ingredients except the butter in a robot and let it work for about 7 minutes on a medium pce until the dough separates from the walls of the bowl. Then gradually put the butter into the dough in parts (about 5). When all the butter is processed, increase the speed and let the robot work for a few more minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for about 1 hour. Then lose (translate) a little with the dough and you can let it rise in the fridge overnight (8-10 hours). Or just for a few hours.

After leavening divide the dough into floured balls into approximately 50 g pieces. Make balls out of them and let them rise on the floured metal plate far enough apart for 1 hour.

Fry the donuts in oil heated to 170-180°C (340-350°F) for 75-80 seconds on each side (until brown). You can try it on the first few donuts without a thermometer.

Let the donuts cool, wrap them in powdered sugar and fill with whatever you want. I used Nuttela and strawberry jam for the filling, because I was a little lazy and didn't want to create anything complicated. Otherwise it's up to you .

    Enjoy your meal.
