Flowers and feathers are siamese twins for my headwear inspirations right now! I made a super easy flower headband I think you guys would like. They are perfect for summer concerts or to dress up a lazy beach outfit.

  • How to make a floral headband. D.I.Y Flower Headband - Step 1
    Step 1

    First what you will need is fake flowers, plyers, studs, chain, fabric, glue gun and some type of gems, pearls or embellishments.

    You can use any color or style of fake flowers. I chose pink oversized daisys and little yellow buds. Pluck the flowers off the green plastic stems. You will need around 8 or 10 of them.

    Step 3

    Cut a strip on fabric about an inch thick and fold it in half. It needs to be long enough to go around your head two times. Start placing a design with the flowers and glue gun them in place.

    Step 4

    Once you have glued on enough flowers to fit around your head start embellishing. There is no right or wrong way to do this. You can do as little or as much as you want. You can have the natural look or glamed out style.

    Now your ready to embrace your inner wild child! I haven't taken mine off since I made it.

I love this! I want to make one in every colour... for UK peeps, try 'The Range' and 'Dunelm Mill' for v cheap silk flowers. They are 1/2 the price of hobbycraft, and the same flowers!!
