Dad's old jeans get a serious make-over!
I made this clutch from the fabric from a pair of Dad's jeans that he finally destroyed them after years of yard-work and some sparkly fabric I had lying around.

Images three and four show the little stitches I put in to make sure the gussets fold inward.

The bag's not done just yet. I'll be adding a concealed handle and some embellishments, but couldn't wait to get it up on the project wall!

The pattern is from "Making Handbags" by Ellen Goldstein-Lynch, Sarah Mullins and Nicole Malone. (It was a gifty from my buddy and partner in crafty-crime!)
