Date & Pecan Loaf
A easy to make fruit bread.
You can leave out the nuts or use walnuts if you like.
Chop dates & place in water.
Leave to stand for 30 mins.
Heat oven 175 degrees.
Cream together the butter, sugar, egg & vanilla.
Add the dates & water.
Fold in the flour & bicarb until just combined.
Fold in the nuts.
Pour into a tin.
Bake for 1 hr until cooked through.
