• 

  Step 1

  You'll need:
  1. A bue cardigan
  2.White felt
  3. Scissors
  4. Embroidery thread in shades of blue
  5. Embroidery needles
  6. Pins

  Step 2

  First, draw out some clouds onto a scrap piece of paper.

• 

  Step 3

  Use these as stencils by pinning them to your felt.

• 

  Step 4

  Cut out as many clouds as you'd like.

• 

  Step 5

  Start pinning them to your cardigan where in any arrangement you'd like.

• 

  Step 6

  Now start sewing them on with your embroidery thread! I found it best to tie the thread in a knot on your needle, rather than doubling over like you would with normal thread.

  Step 7

  Here's how the stitching looks.

  Step 8

  Keep doing this until you have a totally cloudy cardigan!
