A basic chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting - really a way for me to practice my decorating skills :)
I know that I went a little overboard on the icing, but I didn't want to waste any - and it was good to practice my piping skills. Not the winner for the cake tasting, but a fun one to work on. It actually had the darker color I was looking for, but wasn't the favorite of the bride & groom's - I think it took second place :)
