• Step 1

  Apple
  1. Make a magic ring. (If you don't know how to make a magic ring then do 2 chain stitches and then 10 double crochet in the second chain stitch you made. Skip row 2.)
  2. Chain 2, make 10 double crochet in the magic ring.
  3. Make 1 slip stitch in the first double crochet you made. The first 2 chain stitches don't count as a double crochet.
  4. Chain 2. *Make 2 double crochet in the next stitch.* Repeat around until you've made 18 double crochet. The first two chain stitches don't count as a double crochet.
  5. Chain 2.
  6. Make 1 slip stitch in the double crochet in which you did the last set of two double crochet.
  7. Fasten off.

  Stem
  1. Chain 5.
  2. Do 1 single crochet in the second chain from the hook.
  3. Do 3 slip stitches in the next three chain stitches.
  4. Fasten off.

  Leaf
  1. Chain 6.
  2. Do 1 single crochet in the second chain from the hook.
  3. In the next chain stitches you do: 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet.
  4. Fasten off.
