Look great for a very important date
I made this for a photo thing I was doing and wore it to Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland (I hated that movie)

I used the same technique to make a Donkey ear hat for A Midsummer Night's Dream at my school

The bowler hat is from a $ store

  • Step 1

Cut 4 identical large rabbit ear shapes from white felt

  • Step 2

Cut 2 identical small rabbit ears from brown felt. These will be the ear insides

  • Step 3

Sew the 2 brown ears on 2 of the white ears by hand

  • Step 4

cut 2 24 inch pieces of wire and bend them in half. Whip stitch the wire to the other 2 white ears

  • Step 5

sew, by hand, both sides of the ears together to make the 4 pieces into 2

  • Step 6

poke 4 holes in the sides of your bowler hat, 2 on each side. Push the wires of the ears through the holes you have just punched. Bend the wires so they fit smooth against the inside of to hat. Use super glue and duct tape to secure it.

  • Step 7

Add details like a few cards, ribbon, button whatever you want.

You can make a Rabbit ear head band by doing steps 1-5 and wrapping the wires around a head band
