  • How to make a beads. Water Proof Duct Tape Beads - Step 1
    Step 1

    Start by cutting long triangles from your duct tape, I do mine 11" long by 3/4" wide. its probably best to use a craft knife so that they don't rip but be careful. Each triangle is a bead.

    Next, stick the thickest end of the tape to your straw and keep wrapping until you reach the end.

    Keep doing this but leaving gaps in-between each one. Once you can fit no more on the straw, cut right up to the edge of the bead.

I love this! I wonder if you can make very petite/slender beads for earrings by wrapping those slender coffee stirrer straws? Either way, I've got to try this. Thanks for sharing.
